A memorandum of understanding between the Asharqia Chamber and the Oqal Group to support entrepreneurs
Asharqia Chamber, represented by the "Asharqia Chamber Incubator for Entrepreneurship" and the Oqal Angel Investors Group, signed a "Memorandum of Understanding" to coordinate cooperation between the two parties to support the small and medium enterprises sector, through partnership and cooperation to provide technical and advisory support and administrative coordination in implementing joint programs through the incubator .
The memorandum, which was signed on behalf of the Chamber by its Secretary General, Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, and on behalf of the founder and chairman of the Board of Trustees, Faris bin Ibrahim Al-Rashed, stems from the importance of small and medium enterprises in supporting the national economy and advancing development, and the positive impact they have on the economic and social levels, and the increase in exports. Creating new job opportunities for Saudi youth, opening new labor markets, diversifying sources of income, and expanding the productive base in line with achieving the Kingdom’s Vision (2030).
Accordingly, and according to the memorandum, the two parties agreed to implement a number of activities, including the establishment of joint entrepreneurial workshops and meetings, according to what is available at the headquarters of the Asharqia Chamber incubator for entrepreneurship, and what this requires to provide qualified trainers and consultants to participate in the programs and activities of the incubator.
